Gabriela Reyes Rodas is an international consultant on issues related to organized crime, drug trafficking, and citizen security.
She has more than 10 years of experience managing programs for international organizations and advising the Bolivian government on illicit markets and drug policy, police reform, and violence against women programs. Additionally, in the past years, Gabriela has been appointed Bolivia’s Executive General Director of the Bolivian Citizen Security and Fight Against Drugs Observatory, in charge of coordinating different research and studies on these issues. Gabriela advised at least four Ministers of Government from Bolivia (from 2010 to 2022) working together with the anti-drug police force, intelligence and criminal investigation police units, and other government and international cooperation agencies mainly in drug trafficking and police strengthening programs.
Gabriela Reyes Rodas studied Criminology & Criminal Justice and Sociology at the University of Maryland and holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
