Maria is an Analyst within the Global Policy Team and the Regional Observatory for Central and South Asia. Her research interests include Afghanistan, Central Asia, and post-Soviet states. Maria is a contributor to Intersections: Building Blocks of a Global Strategy Against Organized Crime. She holds an MA degree in advanced international studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Maria is based in Vienna and speaks English, German, Russian, and Belarusian.
