Bernadette Carreon

Bernadette Carreon is a journalist with nearly two decades of experience covering the Pacific region. She has worked as an investigative reporter for the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project and has reported for numerous international media outlets, including The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Agence France-Presse, Radio New Zealand and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, covering topics such as environmental issues, geopolitics, fisheries and local politics. In addition to her reporting work, Bernadette is a certified journalism trainer and currently serves as the project coordinator for the Pacific media freedom watchdog, the Pacific Freedom Forum. She holds a degree in journalism from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines.
