Josefina Salomón is a journalist and researcher specialized in human rights, social justice, organized crime and security issues in the Americas. Over the last two decades, she has travelled across Latin America and the Caribbean conducting research, reporting and advocacy for non-for-profit organizations, think tanks and media outlets.
She has worked with Amnesty International, InSight Crime, the International Organization for Migration, the Pan American Health Organization and FairSquare, a London-based human rights research and advocacy group. Her work has been published in media outlets including Vice, OZY, Newsweek, Al Jazeera, The Washington Post, The Guardian, El País and La Nación.
