Eva Vilà

Project Assistant, Resilience Fund, Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime

Eva is working with the GI-TOC Resilience Fund since May 2022. She is a Spanish native, born and raised in Barcelona who served as a police officer since 2011. In 2017 she was awarded with a commendation, following the terrorist attacks in Spain. Eva possess two Bachelor’s Degrees in Law and Political Science and a Master´s Degree in Diplomacy and International Organizations obtained in Barcelona, Spain.

She decided to progress her career from a national perspective to an international position in the area of security first at the OSCE Headquarters with Action Against Terrorism Unit and Strategic Police Matters Unit and soon after at the UNODC Headquarters with the Division for Operations. Prior to that, she worked at the Spanish Permanent Mission to the OSCE in Vienna.
