Trond has been working as diplomat in the Norwegian Foreign Service since 2001. He has served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Norwegian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Norway to the UN in Vienna and various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oslo covering organized crime and terrorist financing. He is currently the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Norway in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Trond is an economist with a specialization in international economy.
