Nazia Hussain’s s research focuses on themes of informal governance, urban conflict, and crime-terror linkages with particular focus on large cities in developing countries. She is a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)-United Nations University Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the United Nations Center for Policy Research. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University. She held a Fulbright scholarship for the duration of her Master’s in International Relations from Boston University.
