Publications Production Manager, Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime
Pete is the GI-TOC production coordinator. In this capacity, he is responsible for the overall design and production of our publications (excluding ENACT titles and the EUTF monthly briefings).
With over 20 years’ design experience, he is a past design head of Random House Struik (now Penguin Random House), South Africa. He formed and ran a publications design consultancy, focusing on illustrated books and design areas for local and international aid and development agencies. He has, over the years, won various international awards for his design and book work.
Pete is a core member of the publications and comms team. He has extensive experience in publications design and web and print production, having worked with the major media houses in South Africa; his expertise make him a valuable asset as the organization grows and, with it, the number of our publications.
As our in-house graphic designer, Pete is now the lead coordinator of the visual production process, including design, imagery sourcing, and typesetting/layout, overseeing design quality control of all GI publications and in-house reports. Pete is based in the Western Cape.
