Natnicha joined the Global Initiative in September 2022 and worked with the academic, drug policy and anti-human trafficking teams. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Foreign Service, concentrating in Global Politics and Security at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand – her home country.
She is focused on transnational security threats and crime, including human and illicit drug trafficking, migrant smuggling, crime-terror nexus, and violent extremism. The topics of forced migration, conflict management and geopolitics in Asia and the Pacific are also her main interests. Previously, she worked in the field of transnational security challenges at the United Nations and the Government of Thailand.
Natnicha is a native Thai speaker who is fluent in English and possesses an intermediate proficiency in French.
