Emilija Tudzarovska Gjorgjievska

Doctoral Research Fellow, Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences

Emilija is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences and Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow under the PLATO Innovative Training Network (ITN). She has both practical and research experience in the democratization processes in Macedonia and the SEE region. She has been working on conflict prevention program at the Policy and Program Department at the British Embassy in Skopje. She has been managing programs on good governance and democratization at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in Macedonia and Kosovo. She has been also leading projects in anti-corruption and monitoring the links of corruption and organized crime at Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) in partnership with the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD), the Bulgarian think-tank in the area of good governance and anti-corruption. She has been a member of the Southeast European Leadership for Development and Integrity (SELDI) – an anti-corruption network of 17 think tanks and civil society organizations from the Western Balkans and Turkey and member of the Board of the political magazine “Political Thought”, published by KAS. Published in the field of good governance, corruption and organized crime and innovative economies. She holds an MA in International Politics and MSc in Educational Management.
