Emilija Tudzarovska Gjorgjievska

Dr. Emilija Tudzarovska is University Lecturer in Contemporary European Politics at Charles University, Prague, Research Fellow at the Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences and a Head of Research in International Relations, UNYP. She holds Ph.D. degree in Public and Social Policy obtained as a Marie Currie Fellow under the Horizon 2020 program, PLATO (2017-2022), which investigated the democratic legitimacy of the EU. In the past 15 years, Emilija Tudzarovska has also worked on Security and Conflict Prevention Program at the Political Department, British Embassy in Skopje (FCO), Party Democracy and Social Market Economy Programs at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Skopje|Germany among others, and she is an expert member of the Global Initiative Network against corruption, headquartered in Geneva. She is a former member of the SEE Southeast European Leadership for Development and Integrity (SELDI) and a former Board Member of the Political Magazine “Political Thought”. She is publishing in peer-reviewed journals and the latest publication appears in the Routledge edition, Legitimacy Recovered? The Politics of Legitimation in the European Union (2021) edited by Lord, C. Bursens, P., Bièvre, D. and Wessel, R.; Central European Public Administration Review (2020) and elsewhere. She also regularly writes op-eds for Social Europe, European Western Balkans, and other media.
