Dr. Eman Ragab

Director General of the Regional Expertise Center for Combating Drugs and Crime (joint UNODC center of excellence) at Nayef Arab University for Security Sciences Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Dr. Eman Ragab is the Director General of the Regional Expertise Center for Combating Drugs and Crime (joint UNODC center of excellence) at Nayef Arab University for Security Sciences in Riyadh. Dr. Ragab is a senior expert with 20 years of experience in security policies, public policy, strategic planning, and governance. Her career spans research, academia, and executive leadership across various governmental institutions. She was notably the Director-General of the General Directorate for Policy Research at the National Security Council Secretariat in the Egyptian President’s Office, becoming the first woman in this role since its inception. Additionally, she served as the Head of the security and military unit at the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, worked at the IDSC in the Egyptian Cabinet, and as an associate expert at the Armed Forces Center for Strategic Studies. Dr. Ragab has held numerous advisory roles at the Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta-Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Arab parliament, and she has provided advise and consultation to international investors.

Her global experience includes being a resident research fellow at the NATO Defense College and consultant expert for the African Union . She is a senior expert at the NESA Center for Strategic Studies in the NDU at Washington, D.C. Dr. Ragab holds two Ph.D. degrees and has completed advanced executive and leadership training from prestigious institutions worldwide.
