Environmental Law Advisor
Mandy is an Environmental Crime Advisor to the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime. She has worked for the U.S. Department of State and Legal Atlas after receiving her law degree specializing in environmental law at Lewis & Clark College of Law. She has experience in international environmental law and policy, wildlife trade law and program management, and environmental crime policy. Prior to this work with the Global Initiative, she was doing field work in Mongolia for Legal Atlas on wildlife trade policy and conservation. She has also worked for different contracts in Southeast Asia. She is currently helping Global Initiative launch our new project TOCLaw: Environment with Legal Atlas, set to go live in late fall 2017. Mandy is a co-author of an upcoming publication: Silent Steppe 2: Illegal Wildlife Trade in Mongolia. She is currently based in the United States.
