Adriana Erthal Abdenur

Executive Director, Plataforma CIPÓ

Adriana Abdenur is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Plataforma CIPÓ, a Brazil-based, women-led think tank dedicated to issues of climate, governance, and peace in Latin America and, more broadly, the Global South. She is also a member of the United Nations Committee on Development Policy and has published widely on issues of transnational organized crime, climate change, global governance, and international peace and security. Dr. Abdenur earned her PhD from Princeton University and lives in Rio de Janeiro.
