Gabriel Feltran is an urban ethnographer. For the last 20 years he studies the ‘world of crime’ in Brazil, especially the most important criminal group in the country, the PCC. Have been an Invited Scholar at University of Oxford and Goldsmiths College (2019), Humboldt University (2017, Kosmos Fellow) and CIESAS Golfo (2015). Author of The Entangled City: crime as urban fabric in São Paulo (Manchester Univesity Press, 2019 forthcoming), Irmãos: uma história do PCC (Companhia das Letras, 2018).
