Dr Mohammed Rahman is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology in the School of Social Sciences, at Birmingham City University. Previously he was a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University.
He holds a Ph.D (2014-2017), which investigated the nature and extent of homicide within organised crime in the West Midlands, England. His other academic credentials include an MEd in Academic Practice in Higher Education, an MA in Criminology and a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Computing.
Mohammed has published internationally, including books, book chapters and peer reviewed articles in his primary area of research – serious and organised crime. His other research interests include, social inequalities, criminal exploitation and serious violence.
