Francis Dusabe is a PhD Student at Vrije University Amsterdam. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Western Cape in South Africa and he is certified for legal practice In Rwanda. Before embarking on this doctoral journey, he worked legal researcher and contributed in the drafting various laws currently in force in Rwanda Francis has extensively written about his country on transnational crimes, such as money laundering and the recovery of crime related assets. His current research is entitled: Supranational Prosecution of the Crime of Corruption: A comparative study between European and African Perspectives. (Working Title). His areas of interest include International criminal law, International anti-corruption law, International migration law. International refugee law, the law of Mutual legal assistance and comparative regional law.
