Tihomir Bezlov is a leading expert in crime research with over 20 years of experience. As a senior fellow at the CSD since 1997, he has authored a number of reports and sociological studies. His research and analysis on crime and corruption-related issues has earned him national and international recognition, and has resulted not only in numerous publications, but also in some of his research being used in court proceedings. He has also pioneered the implementation of the crime victimization survey and surveys on the consumption of illicit goods and services in Bulgaria.
