Marc Hofstetter is the former Deputy Executive Director of the Geneva-based Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, a role he held until 2022. He was previously Deputy Executive Secretary and Chief Operating Officer for the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI), and the Executive Director of the Eliminating Child Labour in Tobacco-growing Foundation. His earlier experience includes working at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), including as their Head of Delegation in Iraq and Tajikistan, and he has also worked as a Project Manager for the World Economic Forum. Marc holds two Master’s degrees, one in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Lausanne, and the other in International Relations from the Fletchers School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Marc sits on the board of several NGOs.
