Ms. Beitland is a Corporate Affairs Director at Microsoft Norway. She is a former member of the Norwegian Government’s Digital Vulnerability Committee, and a board member of the Norwegian Center for Information Security, Amcham Norway and SmartCity Bærum.

She is a law graduate of the University of Oslo with management education from the Norwegian Business School (BI), the Norwegian Defence University College and the Norwegian Police University College. Beitland is a former Director of the Norwegian Business and Industrial Security Council.

She served 16 years in the police as a manager and prosecutor and was head of the Organized Crime Section at the National Police Directorate and head of Department at the National Police Immigration Service, as well as a former prosecutor and head of the Oslo Police District’s largest prosecution team.
