Kaspars Valpeteris has more than two decades of practical experience within the international law enforcement community. As a Senior EU Expert and UNODC International Consultant, Kaspars has gained extensive experience in providing technical assistance to law enforcement and prosecution authorities in Central Asia. This has allowed him not only to share his knowledge on EU internal security issues, but also to use this experience to assist Central Asian countries in improving national and regional cooperation, building investigation and prosecution capacities, sharing and analyzing crime-related information, and enhancing evidence-based investigation and prosecution effectiveness at national and international level with the support of accessible international cooperation tools, organizations and EU JHA agencies.
