Josefina Salomon is a bilingual journalist, editor and researcher with more than 20 years of experience working on human rights, security and gender issues across the Americas for global non-for-profit organizations and media outlets. She has lived and travelled extensively across Latin America documenting human rights, organized crime and security issues for research, campaign and advocacy work for organizations including Amnesty International, InSight Crime, GI-TOC and Fair Square, among others.
Josefina is the co-founder and Director of (In)Visibles, an independent media outlet to be launched in August 2023, which will amplify the stories of the many collateral victims of organized crime in Latin America, with a view to change public perceptions about crime and punishment as well as government policies and practices.
