Jennifer Okeyo-Robert

Financial crime research consultant

Jennifer Okeyo-Robert is a consultant at the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC). Her research focuses on illicit financial flows and the methods used by criminal networks to move and conceal illicit proceeds, with a particular interest in how these networks adapt to new technologies, emerging markets and regulatory change. Using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), she has written on topics including cyber-enabled fraud, cryptocurrency-related risks, sanctions evasion and other financial crime threats.

Before joining GI-TOC in 2026, Jennifer worked in compliance and risk management, specialising in integrity due diligence and third-party risk assessments. She also supported programmes in South Africa and France across the fields of education, financial journalism, and environmental conservation.

She holds a Master’s degree from IRIS Sup’, specialising in international security and risk analysis, and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Management from the University of Limoges.
