Irina is a Bulgarian, born and raised in Dubai, UAE. She is a recent master’s graduate in European Politics from University College London. She has worked for the UNCAC Coalition as Project Assistant on issues related to anti-corruption, and joined the GI-TOC Network Coordination team in September 2022 as an Associate, where she supported the development of and engagement with the GI-TOC Network of Experts.

Her areas of interest lie in EU politics and enlargement in the Western Balkans, human rights, anti-corruption and organized crime.

Irina is fluent in Bulgarian and English and possesses working proficiency in French and Spanish.
