Galo joined GI-TOC as a consultant in January 2024. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing programs and projects related to social inclusion, poverty, health, and transportation in various national and local public institutions in Ecuador.
Throughout his professional career, he served as an advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, contributing to the design, monitoring, and implementation of the National Development Plan. As a Technical Coordinator at the Secretariat of Youth, he conducted the first situational study of youth in Ecuador. Additionally, in his role as Director of Territorial Articulation at the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, he focused on linking public services with various social organizations. Galo also worked as a technical advisor on socio-economic programs and citizen participation initiatives in local public institutions.
He holds a BA in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Quito, Ecuador with a focus on econometrics. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s in Communication and Public Opinion at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Ecuador.
