Gabriel Fauveaud is an associate professor in the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Geneva, where he researches the intertwined transformations of globalized capitalism and contemporary urbanization. He has conducted extensive fieldwork in South East Asia, especially in Cambodia, for two decades. His current research investigates the hidden infrastructure and clandestine circuits that underpin criminalized forms of urban development, and their implications for governance, spatial justice and everyday urban life.
