Since 2023, Evelyn Guevara Zamudio is the Executive Subdirector for the Drug Supply Control of the National Anti-Drug Commission (DEVIDA) based in Lima, Peru.
Evelyn served as a senior specialist for 15 years in drug supply reduction, drug observatory, and alternative development. During this period, she was also the focal point in her country for the International Cooperation Programs of USAID, UNODC, CICAD / DDOT and COPOLAD III in support of the strategy and policy against organized crime and illicit drug trafficking.
Evelyn has two degrees in Economics and Administration. She has specialized in organized crime, security, human rights and drug trafficking at various academic institutions including the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE), EMCDDA and Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies (WJPC) among others.
