Intelligence Analyst - International Serious and Organized Crime
Eleonora Forte works as a researcher and strategic analyst for an EU law enforcement cooperation agency, focusing on preventing and countering international organized crime and in particular trafficking in human beings, migrants smuggling and environmental crimes. Besides, she regularly delivers trainings on strategic intelligence analysis and criminal analysis methodology to law enforcement practitioners in and outside the EU.
She is also providing input and participating to several EU-funded research projects developing strategies to tackle organized crime and terrorism. She is a member of relevant EU expert groups working on development of intelligence analysis methodology, in cooperation with other EU bodies and academic partners.
Eleonora holds a Master’s degree in international relations and diplomatic affairs, with a specialization in terrorism and international security in the MENA region (Almamater Studiorum, University of Bologna). She also has an upper-intermediate level certificate of Arabic language obtained at the University of Jordan in 2007 and 2008 (UJLC).
In the past, she has worked for the Italian Embassy in Beirut (Lebanon), for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (Netherlands), as well as for Eurojust (Netherlands).
