Dr. Samuel Bekalo

Freelance Research Fellow and Consultant

Dr. Bekalo is a  Research and Development Education Fellow, educated at higher degree levels (MEd, PhD) in the UK. He has first-hand experience of living and working with the people from the East/Horn of Africa (i.e., Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya and Sudan)  where he has held several posts and responsibilities for over 25 years at UK-Leeds/London/Oxford and Africa Universities as well as in various development organisations. As an East/Horn of Africa country expert, Dr. Bekalo has provided numerous independent reports for legal and humanitarian institutions in Europe/North America and Africa. In terms of publications, his work has resulted in numerous international journal publications and reports. This includes contributions to GI-TOC.
