Director, Europe Observatory, Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime

Daniel is the Director of the Europe Observatory for the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime. Before joining, Daniel headed the “Global Partnership on Drug Policies and Development (GPDPD)” program at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. He holds a Master’s degree in political science from the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg and has published numerous articles, policy papers and books on organized crime, drugs and development policies.
