Colin is a retired senior police officer, having served in London, for 31 years. An operational officer for many years, he delivered real change within communities as well as gaining significant experience of operating internationally both at the tactical and strategic levels.

Colin led a series of Joint Investigation Teams, investigating human trafficking across Europe, including co-leading the first ever Joint Investigation Team in Europe focused on Human Trafficking. Under Colin’s leadership, the first ever UK conviction for the labour exploitation of a child was achieved. Colin has extensive experience of delivering detailed training and ‘rule of law’ capacity building on behalf of a number of international organisations such as the UNODC, OSCE, Interpol, Europol and the UK Government. This has included training in effective strategies to combat transnational organised crime, human trafficking and supporting vulnerable victims as well as programmes to develop and embed community-based policing.
