Carl Vosloh joined us in the beginning of September in Geneva. He is an Associate working on the Switzerland MFA project, engaging Swiss civil society organizations as part of the UNTOC review mechanism. Carl is a Rotary International Peace Fellow from Colombia, pursuing a Master’s of Social Science in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University in Sweden. Most recently, he received a certification in Transnational Organised Crime from the European Consortium for Political Research and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C., with a concentration in global security, peace, and conflict resolution. Moreover, he has over four years of professional experience working in international development programs and research across Latin America and Africa focused on citizen security, security governance, post-conflict transitions, peacebuilding, and education in emergencies. He has supported programs in Colombia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nigeria. Carl is fluent in English and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and playing sports such as football, in addition to hiking, travelling, cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
