Surpassing borders and manifesting in ways not seen before, organised crime presents challenges to governance, peace and security and development in developed and developing nations alike.

The Organised Crime Index for Africa is a multi-dimensional tool that looks at the scope and scale of criminal markets on the continent, the structure and degree of influence of criminal actors involved, and assesses the level of state resilience to counter organised crime.
