Billy Kyte

Research, campaigns and strategy consultant on natural resource governance, business and human rights, environment

Billy has 15 years experience working for international NGOs and think tanks. He ran one of Global Witness’ flagship campaigns investigating violence and corruption related to large-scale extractive and agribusiness industries. Billy has led projects with local human rights monitors in East Africa documenting abuses in conflict areas. He has also published reports from personal field research across Latin America, Africa and SE Asia. Billy has lived and worked in Myanmar, Argentina and Mexico. He speaks English, Spanish, French and basic Portuguese.
