Huy Ha is a Field Coordinator (Vietnam) at the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), where his work sits at the intersection of research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. Huy is keen on leveraging research findings to effectively support stakeholders in countering transnational organised crime.
Prior to joining the GI-TOC, he spent some years working across foreign missions, non-governmental organisations, and the private sector. Huy holds an MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University (The Netherlands). Currently, he is wrapping up his second Master’s programme at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (The Netherlands), specialising in the crime-conflict nexus, with a particular emphasis on human trafficking and migration through unofficial channels in general.
