Field Coordinator Colombia, Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime

Lina María joined the Colombian Team of the Global Initiative in July 2021 as a Consultant and later as a Field Coordinator in March 2022. She has experience in peacebuilding, security conditions, armed conflict and field work with communities in Colombia. Lina has worked analyzing the security situation, human rights and monitoring the implementation of the Peace Accords, especially the reintegration process of FARC combatants. Lina has a BA in Sociology from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia and a M.A in Public Policy from Universidad de Los Andes, also in Bogotá.
