Edoardo was born in 1975 in Palermo, Sicily (Italy), where he currently lives.

He graduated in Humanities with a dissertation about Sicilian history. Edoardo is the co-founder of “Comitato Addiopizzo Onlus”, an anti-mafia grass-roots organization estabilished in Palermo in 2004. For Addiopizzo, he has been responsible of the website and of the data management. On behalf of Addiopizzo he currently manages the relations with the foreign press and with a network of NGOs worldwide.

Edoardo gives didactic speeches and participates in international conferences (USA, UK, Ireland, Germany and Austria).

He is the co-founder of Addiopizzo Travel, a social entreprise and tour operator that was created in 2009 as a branch of Comitato Addiopizzo. It organises “mafia-free” travel experiences for tourists and study trips for Italian and foreign students. Edoardo is responsible of the human resources and staff training. He became a member of the Global Initiative Network of Experts in 2019. From 2021 onwards, Edoardo has been acting as a Mentor for grantees working on protection racket and community-based anti-mafia strategies.
