Head of Outreach and Digital Projects, Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime
Claudio first joined the Gl-TOC in April 2017. His main areas of interest are visual communication, Communication for Development (C4D), and international cooperation and NGOs. As the Global Initiative’s Head of Outreach and Digital Projects, Claudio coordinates and designs the GI’s communications strategy on digital platforms across a range of activities. Claudio also provides the art direction for a number of flagship projects and creates and commissions data visualization implementation for the GI’s publications. He also serves as the primary point of contact for external media relations.
Prior to joining the GI, Claudio served as a C4D Officer for a CIPSI development project (Polis) on Women’s Empowerment in Pikine Est (Senegal). Claudio holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Naples-L’Orientale and an Executive Master in Islamic Economics from the LUISS School of Government in Rome. His regional focus is the Middle East and North Africa region and Sub-Saharan Africa.
As a native Italian, Claudio is fluent in English and has an intermediate knowledge of French.
