Sandra Terán Revelo is a Geographical Engineer with a major in Sustainable Development and Land Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. She also has masters in Energy Science and Policy from Ajou University – South Korea and in Geographic Information Science and Systems from the University of Salzburg. During her professional career, Sandra acquired extensive experience in the management of Geographic Information Systems (open source and ARCGIS), differential GPS, management of spatial data infrastructure, digital processing of satellite images (remote sensors), projects related to conservation of forests under a REDD + approach, environmental crime, monitoring and evaluation of conservation areas at the national level, land use planning, natural resource management and sustainable forestry.
