Patrick Winn is an investigative journalist and author. His non-fiction book “NARCOTOPIA: In Search of the Asian Drug Cartel that Survived the CIA” has been translated into five languages. His first book was “HELLO, SHADOWLANDS: Inside the Meth Fiefdoms, Rebel Hideouts and Bomb-Scarred Party Towns of Southeast Asia.” Based in Bangkok, his work focuses on rebellion and the narcotics trade. Winn produces radio news stories for The World, a foreign affairs radio show heard by millions each week on NPR stations across America. His work has also appeared in/on The New York Times, BBC Radio, Rolling Stone, The Times of London and many other outlets.
