Nathalia Dukhan is a senior researcher and conflict analyst on Central Africa, and an expert on the Central African Republic. Over the past 15 years, her research focused on the economic and financial drivers of mass violence, and the responsibility of local and foreign mercenaries, private security companies and mafia groups in the context of the deepening geostrategic conflict between foreign powers on the African continent. Her work has led to sanctions designations, criminal charges and the opening of investigations by European and international courts. Nathalia authored several reports, including “Architects of Terror: The Wagner Group’s Blueprint for State Capture in the Central African Republic” (2023) published by The Sentry.
