Mohamed El Guindy
Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Expert, British University in Egypt
Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy is a leading cyber security expert and international speaker. He works as a cybercrime researcher, cyber terrorism expert, and consultant for international organizations. His work on cybercrime has been cited in several international publications.
Dr. El-Guindy worked for several years as a Cybersecurity and Cybercrime consultant to the UNODC developing and delivering training to Justice, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Departments in MENA countries and Europe. Currently, he works as the Digital Advisor to the Egyptian Public Prosecution Office and the Program Director of the Professional Master in Cybercrime Investigations at Faculty of Law, the British University in Egypt.
In 2019, he was invited by Ministry of Defense to deliver a speech in front of H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi about Hybrid Warfare and social media. Dr. El-Guindy is the official representative of ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) in Egypt and frequently represented Egypt in UNESCO International conferences and participated in drafting several UNESCO declarations related to cyberspace, literacy, and ethics. Dr. El-Guindy presents a Technology TV Show called “Tech Talk”, in which he delivered over 300 episodes tackling a variety of technical and scientific topics that have impact on the entire society.
