Maria Antonia Cote joined the Colombian Team of the Global Initiative in January 2023 as a Consultant and later as an analyst in October 2023. She is a political scientist and feminist with experience in gender research in the Colombian armed conflict, working with the Truth Commission in Colombia, focusing on women and LGBTQ+.Her areas of interest include conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and criminal governance. Maria holds a BA in Political Science from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.
