High Commissioner of Botswana to Zimbabwe
Kenny Kapinga was the Ambassador of Botswana in the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdoms of Lesotho and Swaziland, and is now the High Commissioner of Botswana to Zimbabwe. Prior to, he was a Deputy Commissioner responsible for police operations, encompassing areas such as uniformed policing, detectives, crime intelligence, forensic science services and traffic policing. In the course of his service, he has served as the police legal advisor, the Head of detectives and also Assistant Director of Interpol responsible for Southern Africa. In this position he was responsible for coordinating and promoting international police cooperation in Southern Africa.
Mr Kapinga holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Botswana and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Portsmouth. He is also a proud associate of the FBI National Academy, 197th Session. Mr Kapinga is passionate on international police cooperation and is committed to elevating international police cooperation into the centre of international relations.
