José Guillermo Castillo Koschnick is a senior specialist in statistical and geospatial data analysis applied to public policy, with a focus on security, justice, and human rights. He has a proven track record designing and leveraging data-driven strategies to inform decision-making in public and private institutions.
His professional experience includes serving as Deputy Director General of Government Policies and National Censuses at INEGI, leading large-scale statistical operations on public security and justice systems. He has also worked as a consultant for the UNODC Centre of Excellence and UNICEF, contributing to international initiatives on governance, victimization, and child protection.
Areas of expertise include crime pattern analysis, crime prevention, and criminal intelligence. Holds an MSc in Crime Science from University College London and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from CIDE. Recipient of distinctions from CLAD and the Chevening Scholarship. Currently works as an independent consultant, advising public and private sector organizations on data-driven approaches to security, justice, and governance.
