Husai joined the GI-TOC as a project assistant for the Asia Pacific Observatory in August 2024. He holds a degree in International Human Rights Law from Aberystwyth University. Husai started his professional career as a regional programme officer at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) to support human rights and economic freedom in the Southeast and East Asia regions. Later, he joined the British Embassy in Bangkok as a Programme, Policy, and Outreach Officer.

Throughout his career, Husai has built a solid foundation in programme management, event management and organisation, visit coordination, and research. Husai is fluent in English and Thai.
