Dr. Gerald Doyle PhD is a researcher, consultant and lecturer. His area of research is financial crime, money laundering and organised crime. His PhD research was based on Investigating waste crime and organised criminality. He holds an MA in Financial Crime and Financial Investigation. Gerald has significant experience and has previously held roles at Buckingham University and Nottingham Trent University teaching on Master’s degree programmes. Currently Gerald is Director of Financial Pathways Consultancy Ltd which provides a range of benefits to law enforcement, academia, and the private sector. For the previous fourteen years, Gerald has travelled to many countries, Jordan, Dubai, Kosovo, to the continent of Africa and the Caribbean delivering capacity building projects. He has delivered interactive reform projects in Money Laundering, Asset Tracing, Corruption, Corporate Governance, Wildlife crime, and Human Trafficking. His current research portfolio is based on solution orientated practice pertinent to viewing organised crime as a business model.
