Camilla Silvi Marchini is a researcher specializing in cybercrime, organized crime in cyberspace, and counterterrorism. From 2022 to 2025, she collaborated with the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), first as a Research Assistant and later as a Research Associate, contributing to the Global Organized Crime Index Project and other strategic outputs. Her research spans global trends in illicit activities, including cyber-enabled criminal networks and online dark markets. She brings extensive experience from international organizations such as the United Nations and the European Union, having held roles at UNCTED, UNICRI, and EUROPOL. Camilla holds a Joint Master’s Degree in International Security Studies from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and the University of Trento, and a BA in Economics & Finance and International Affairs from John Cabot University in Rome.
