Angie De Luna has worked in the private sector for more than 12 years including in the automotive and white line industries. At the same time, she has volunteered in the social sector with organizations that focus on human rights.
Since 2015, Angie has been representing A21 in Latin America by managing the development of educational, awareness and prevention programs in Spanish within the framework of human trafficking. Since January 2021, she has been the reach coordinator for A21 in LATAM.
Angie is an active member of the Inter-secretarial Committee Against Trafficking in Persons in Mexico and Guatemala, as well as a member of the Regional Network of the Americas for the Implementation of the UNTOC. She has been awarded Woman of the Year twice by the state Women’s Committee in Mexico, of which she is a member.
