Aleksandar joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime as a Field Coordinator for North Macedonia in December 2020. Aleksandar is a journalist with over 15 years of working experience in print and electronic media. He specialized in covering a range of areas like organized crime, cyber, defense and security matters in Macedonia and the Balkan peninsula as well as international affairs and relations.
Working in multicultural environments with institutions such as Brussels Morning, Nova Makedonija, Newsweek weekly magazine – Europa, Blic, Politika, University of Oklahoma, ABC News, Vecer, TV Sitel, Utrinski Vesnik and sport magazine Skok has provided him the opportunity to be part of some of the most influential regional, national and international media.
Earned commendations for excellence in writing, reporting, photojournalism and info-graphics. Aleksandar received his Bachelor of Journalism at the University of St. Kiril and Metodij, Skopje, Macedonia, and continued his education at The University of Oklahoma, USA.
