Media matters: Exposing Environmental Crime

The Global Initiative believes journalists play a vital role in investigating, exposing, and explaining the impacts of environmental crime to the general public. This maps highlights feature, data-driven and investigative pieces for which we have provided reporting grants, mentoring or training, often with our partners the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Many of these articles are part of our ‘Digital Dangers’ project on online environmental crime.

Digital Dangers is a project of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime, in partnership with Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism and developed by ScienceLink
